Overall Noise Reduction Project for Energy Station Boiler Room
Technical Challenges
Multiple large gas-fired boilers and circulation pumps operating simultaneously caused noise levels exceeding 105 dB in the boiler room, affecting nearby residential areas.
Solutions
Features an integrated soundproof enclosure design with a comprehensive solution combining silent louver ventilation, in-line silencers, and spring isolators.
Implementation Results
Site boundary noise reduced from 75 dB to 48 dB, fully complying with the "Emission Standard of Industrial Enterprise Boundary Environmental Noise."
Project Background
This district energy station provides centralized heating to commercial complexes and residential communities within a 3 sq km radius. The facility is equipped with 4 gas-fired boilers (each rated at 10t/h) and 8 large-scale circulation pumps. High-intensity noise and vibration generated during equipment operation significantly impact the surrounding environment.
Technical Details
- Boiler Room Soundproofing: Integrated soundproof enclosure with wall sound insulation ≥ 40 dB.
- Ventilation System: Soundproof louvers for intake and exhaust, providing airflow to meet boiler combustion requirements.
- Pipe Silencing: Install a silencer on hot water pipes to reduce fluid noise.
- Pump vibration isolation: Install spring isolators under the circulating pump base with a vibration isolation efficiency of ≥95%.
- Chimney Noise Reduction: Install a silencer at the chimney outlet to reduce exhaust noise.
