Noise Reduction Project for Stamping Workshop
Technical Challenges
Stamping equipment generates noise up to 95 dB during operation, severely impacting the surrounding environment and employee health.
Solutions
Use a combination of custom soundproof enclosures and acoustic louvers to isolate major noise sources.
Implementation Results
Plant boundary noise was reduced from 78 dB to 52 dB, achieving a noise reduction of 26 dB and passing environmental acceptance inspection.
Project Background
This enterprise is a leading domestic automotive parts supplier. The stamping workshop spans 3000 square meters and is equipped with 12 large-scale stamping presses. Due to aging equipment and the lack of effective noise insulation, noise levels in the workshop have consistently exceeded regulatory limits, resulting in multiple complaints from nearby residents.
